Positive Thursday – 225

Last week I wrote about Love & Fear,

and how to transition from fear to love with a question.

This triggered a thought process,

What are other ways of beating fear?

I was at the gym working out a few months back.

And a friend noticed I was lifting similar weight for a few months now.

He came up to me and said, “Are you ever going to go heavier?”

Internally I thought, “Heck no that is too much?”

Right in the middle of my internal dialogue he says,

“Here add this to that side and I’ll spot you”

Reluctantly with a smile I add the weights,

Thinking to myself, “225 pounds, that’s too much.”

I laid on the bench with scattered beliefs and gave it a go.

“It’s Heavy!”

He preaches you got this and I did!

I bench 225 3 times before he assisted me with 2 more.

Sometimes to beat your fear,

You need to trust the belief that someone else has in you.
